‘Tis the festival season

The next couple of months is the season for writers’ and readers’ festivals on in urban and regional areas. Here’s the run down
20-22 July – Whitsunday Writers Festival at Airlie Beach
21-22 July – Southern Highlands Writers’ Festival at Bowral, two hours from Sydney and Canberra
3-5 August – Byron Bay Writers’ Festival (one that writers’ web always attends)
10-12 August – Bendigo Writers Festival, 90 minutes from Melbourne
23 August-2 September – Melbourne Writers Festival
5-9 September – Brisbane Writers Festival celebrating 50 years in 2012. Expect some writers’ web news about this one when the program is announced on 28 July.
